ensemble carte mere boitier
Hi, I am installing a GIGABYTE GA-Z77MX-D3H micro ATX motherboard into a Fractal Define R4 mid tower case. On the motherboard there are 7 holes to screw the motherboard into the standoffs, but these only line up with 6 places on the case where I can append the standoffs.
I've heard the standoffs supply ground to the motherboard (though I would guess ground would come from the power supply too). Am I risking anything by having only 6 of the 7 spots grounded to the standoffs? Will part of the motherboard remain precariously ungrounded?
This is my first build. It seems I got a case too big for my needs, but other than this problem everything else looks good. I haven't booted it up yet because I'm nervous about messing up the motherboard or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
